Cultivated in the dappled shade of avocado trees, a more sheltered environment than neighboring estates, the unique microclimate of Finca la Auromar imparts a distinctive terroir to this exceptional Geisha. The harvest period, spanning December to March, yields cherries of exceptional potential.
Fun fact: Back in '13, their washed Geisha, the “Ironman" (we dig the name), was crowned king of Panama in 2013. And their sun-dried Geisha? Seriously limited, seriously special. Even the Coffee Review, which has been reviewing coffees on a 100-point scale since 1997, recognized it as a "Top 30 Coffee" back in ’14.
Under the stewardship of Roberto, a multiple B.O.P competition winner, Finca la Auromar's commitment to terroir-driven flavor has consistently impressed. This place delivers unique regional character, no question.
Post-pickin', these cherries take a long, sunny vacation on African drying beds. The result? A nuanced and complex cup that lives up to the hype.
