Hailing from the renowned Kirinyaga growing region, the Kenya Karii AA TOP is processed with precision at the Kali washing station (est. 1984). Part of the respected Mutira Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS) – alongside names like Kiangundu and Kagumo – Kali taps into the region's prime coffee-growing terroir.

Kirinyaga boasts a solid 1100mm of annual rainfall and a consistent, cool temperature range (12-26°C). Factor in that rich volcanic soil, and you've got a recipe for seriously good beans.

Post-harvest, the ripe red cherries get a careful depulping, followed by an 18-24 hour fermentation. A thorough wash and a subsequent 24-hour soak prep them perfectly for the final stage: a slow, even dry on raised beds until they hit that ideal sub-12% moisture.
Representing the top tier of the Mutira FCS's offerings, the Karii AA TOP delivers the vibrant acidity and nuanced complexity that Kenyan coffees are famous for. Expect a clean, bright cup that speaks for itself.
