Out in Sitio Aduyon Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet, you'll find the Aduyon Coffee Farm, run by the Aduyon Coffee Farmers Association (ACFA). It's a tight group of 30 folks working 13 hectares, where coffee's the main crop, with leafy greens as a by-crop.
These farmers banded together to elevate their coffee – they call it “aduyon" (or “bayanihan”, in Tagalog), which is all about that collective effort. The idea is simple: work together to produce better beans.
So, when you taste Aduyon coffee, you're tasting the result of a community focused on quality. Members pool their efforts and resources, and the payoff is in the cup. It's good coffee, grown with a shared purpose in the highlands of Benguet.
